HELP, lost win95 to os/2 v.1

I installed os/2 1.2 thinking that the built in boot manager would be able to boot win95, well it doesnt. how can i restore win95, i lost my product key, so i cant fix that way, tried usein a boot disk, win95 wouldn't start said wrong version of dos. It WAS win95 dos also it gave me a compresion driver error when it boots.

Try "sys c:" without quotes from the a:> prompt.

I tried, windows started and locked up in a couple of seconds

tried f8 and safe mode, says the v. of msdos is incorrect. I have no idea what release win95 i have. Tried copying command.com from the windows dir, didnt work, same prob

I got it, thanks for the help, it turns out that the msdos.sys is differnet to boot to windows
