ok here's my problem , i accidently knocked my pc when it was booting up , the hard disk stopped working and i got the message please insert a floppy into a: , i tried repeated start up attempts with the same message please insert floppy , so thinking i got the problem sussed ( i thought broke hard drive ) i get my hands on a 4.3 gig drive , i put it in my pc , run the win me boot disk , and it gives me these 3 error reports , saying hard drive may not be fat 16 fat 32 etc or could have a virus etc , then it says your cd drive is D: so it basically doesnt see the hard drive , ive tried the 4.3 gig in the pc im using now , and it even installed win me for me , so i got a hard drive waiting and ready n fresh , ok back to the point , i believe and i could be wrong , have i done more damage than just destroying the 20 gig , i mean in the bios it will find any hard disk on auto detect but the pc will not boot any hard disk inside it , just please insert a disk into a: please help ive been up for hours , ive tried everything i know , oh it also says on the black screen about a few seconds after i hit the power on button , it says quickly , HDD error , please help please email if u know what the problem is and could help to wet_dreams@hotmail.com <-- i know stupid email addy , thank you anyone who can help , Rob
