A big thanks to all regarding the information they share.

I finally got my home LAN to work properly. I've been familiar with either Windows or OS/2 LAN, but never mixing them together.

The various resources here and others, regarding which protocols, etc. are not spelled out correctly.

Basically, if all else fails when the clients talk to each, particularly when you have a Windows9x client, is to uinstall / reinstall the network adapters and protocols on the Windows client. That solved my problem when they could ping, FTP, Telnet, obtain DHCP leases, etc.

Next assignment is to find a Socks client for my 9x box. I got the two OS/2 clients working fine regarding Socks.
