hi,
am thinking of buying ecS 2 when it comes out. what's a good book to learn with? i assume it will be an old book on some form of OS/2?

Warp 4 books should be close enough to this proggie. There are still some about.
Also the recent book from Wrox on REXX is good value, because rexx is the glue that holds OS/2 together.
Try playing with regina rexx or 4nt (both ports of OS/2 proggies), or even things like Ztree or FC/2 (or Winzip).

The dream we dream together is reality.

many thanks!

Hi,
You will find a plethora of OS/2 docs as well on Hobbes:
As well, there are a bunch at OS/2 World to get you up to speed on some of what eCS is capable of.
For some of the most recent features and how certain things work, try finding IBM Redbooks on Warp Server for e-Business - they are free (and buried someplace on IBMs site - though some are archived at OS/2 World).
