I have been looking hours on many forums about the question and the only thing that seems to work is to reinstall xp on the old one, and i don't want to. Please, if sommedy has something new tell me. I have tried the following stuff: reinstalled drivers, replaced the opengl.dll by a downloaded new 3dfx*.dll and renamed it , looked in my win.ini file to put a ";" in front of DVA=0, install detonator drivers, reinstalled the game, rebooted about a 1000 times. Say i'm in a pretty bad mood after all that mucking around. I know micro$oft does it on purpose, they even write it black on white on their support page about opengl on xp. f--- them since when can't we crack microsoft. Somebody has to have a solution down here.

Anywho i was having problems with this game OpenGl error. This is how i fix my problems: launch the game Click "HELP" bottom, Click the Viewtroubleshooting Guide, when it open up go the number 5 Video tssues there look for the section that say: Supported 3D Card and Video Driver List depend on your OS type and your Video card name look for the driver for your video crad copy the name of the driver not the "Chipset" when u copy the Driver name Go to the page "http://www.driverguide.com/" U will have to sign up with them it is free-easy-/quick use driverguide (SE)to find your Video crad driver name not the name of the crad but the driver name for the card Ex. this is your video card name Creative Varpac Blaster TNT2-This will be the chipset Name NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 M64-this will be the driver name for the chipset Win2k-xp_23.11.. use the driver name and download the driver.. when installing window might gave u a error (sometime XP meanly)pay no attention to it like u did to the French guy! go ahead and install and u will be fine! Note: never fellow instruction that say delete .DLL files or change .DLL to whatever ZoNeR: Africanjuice2g
