How do I configure the response.wp3 file so FSERVICE services OS/2 Warp3 from disk images off of 'd:\fix\" ?

What is the correct syntax?

FSERVICE halts with fatal error (reading drive a) when I've already specified the location of the disk images in the response file.

you are trying to install fixpak from hard
drive? you should have quickfix, i believe
file is qf121.zip, will have to check.
this is a rexx script that makes hd fixpak
install a breeze
