My pc starts with Cd-ROM support and not with floppy disk support. Now I want to format my hard drive.I know that I'm supposed to format my drive(C:) from the floppy drive(a:) since I'm having Win ME.How do I make my pc boot up without the help of Cd-ROM support? Or How do I make my PC boot up from the floppy drive?? Any solutions????

You may need to change your bios setting to recognise a floppy if one is inserted at startup. I reckon a win98 SE boot disk will do the trick. It has stacks of support for what you intend to do.
Others may have an opinion on this.

You could change the boot order in the BIOS to do that - press the DEL key after the memory test, and then change to floppy.
But why not just use the Windows CD to boot from and do it there.
