Reply: (edit)locate the CMOS battery on your mother board..unplug it for about 1 minute(this will earase all pass words) then put it back in and start your computer.its that easy...good luck

Reply: (edit)Sorry folks if you noticed he said Windoz XP password not bios password (removing the battery). The fix: either reformat and reinstall after backing up data or my answer is load OS/2

Reply: (edit)James, Goto safe mode and login as Administrator and then follow this path:- Start>Control Panel>User Accounts...
Click on your username and change Password:- Give a new password. It will not ask you for the old one. It will work.......... Believe me.
