Comment:

I just loaded Warp 4 (What a PAIN!) and I need to get the latest FixPack for it. IBM site is very hard to use.

1. Where do I get the latest fix pack for it?

2. Do I have to put ALL Fix Packs on in order or can I just apply the last, most current one?

3. What is the most current FixPack?

Thanks!

You need only install FixPak 16 for OS/2 Warp V4, which is the letest fixpak available for W4. When you have the comvenience pak, you can download XR_C003, the third fixpak. You need only to install the latest fixpak available once (not like service packs in NT!!)

The latest fixpak that is free for OS/2 W4 is FP15, which can be downloaded from the following ftp site:
ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/ps/products/os2/fixes/v4warp/.

For the later fixpacks, you must purchase an rather expensive subscription, IBM Softzare Choice. For further question, you can mail to: 052helpdesk@easynet.be.

To summarize:
1/ see url above;
2/ only once the most recernt one;
3/ FP15 free, FP16 SWC subscribed.
