Comment:
I need the fix for the OS/2 Warp for a Pentium II 350MHz. According to the installation notes accompanying the CD ROM from the Australian Personal Computer Magazine, the fix is available at http://service.software.ibm.com/os2ddpak/ but I cannot find it. According to the notes, this version of OS/2 installed perfectly on Pentium 75 but does not on Pentium II or Pentium III Help!!!
I warp on my Pentium III without any problems but, just updating the instalation disks with the new IDE drivers (ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/os2/os2ddpak/idedasd.exe), but, the first operation after the installation was the installation of the Fixpack 12 - ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/os2/fixes/v4warp/)
You don't need a fix for that specific CPU but OS/2 has fixpacks, different ones for Warp 3 and Warp 4, to keep track with the most accurate level. Warp 4 is on FP 13 / 14.040-w4 and just now FP 14 / 14.044-w4 has arrived. With these FP's your system is up-to-date but with Warp 4 ONLY !!!
