I'm getting a fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C7463C45 in VXD asc.mpd (01) + 00000C4F. How do I fix this, I ran the latest version of Mcafee, and did a scan disk. Or is there a reference guide I can use to help me fix this? Thanks!

In general, Windows VxDs are not supported under OS/2.
Some VxDs are supported if there is a special Virtual DOS Driver (VDD)
which has been written to provide the same service as the VxD,
and this is how Win32s is supported. But most VxDs will not work.

We've had that problem here at this State Department; we change the video to a chip specific driver, rather than OEM. Hope this helps, if not email me.

These are caused by bad ram chips or too many applications running at the same time. try to limit open apps to 2 or 3. When is the last time you cleaned your pc of temp files, cache files from internet explorer or netscape and run scandisk and defrag. email me if you need any help with this.

There is an update available of VXD Symevent (an low level driver for scanning processor and memory access). Problem should be solved by then. Check microsoft's dowload area.

I built a computer six months ago, when ever I ran large programs I recieved a blue screen, fatal error in the vxd vcache. also had many registry errors. I finally fixed my problem. It turns out my cpu had a bus speed of 133mhz but my motherboard only supported 100mhz. so i installed a new cpu 600mhzx100mhz. And now my computer runs great. I'm able to install programs that I could'nt before, and my computer is finaly STABLE no more blue screens, no more registry errors.
