The book, "The Design of OS/2"
ISBN 0-201-54889-5

is the bible for OS/2 and used by the IBM developers during the development of OS/2 at Boca Raton, FL. The book is out of print, but you should be able to find a used copy from the auction sites or isbn.nu

This book is highly technical.
