I have an old 486DX2-66 which is happily running OS/2 warp 3.0 with fixpak 40. It also has the IAK, so tcpip 2.0. I recently added a new linux box (the old also runs linux when not OS/2) and a lan based on a linksys router/hub/firewall. I was given an old 3com ISA ethernet card, for which I have been able to get drivers, even the original install disk. I would like to get OS/2 tcpip to use it to get to the lan. I can set up my hosts and such ok, but I don't know what's missing. I see only things like

You might have junk in your INI files (protocol and netman?).

hmm - Linux and OS/2 can be linked together in a LAN-way. However, there is some fiddling needed. You will either have to install an NFS-client on Warp or Samba on Linux plus NETBIOS over TCP/IP on Warp. This is necessary, because Linux networks in a different way from OS/2 (and Windows). Since the NFS-Client (from IBM) is an optional software package you will have to purchase seperately, the Samba-approach looks much more promising ;-) The Linux documentation will tell you how to set up and configure a Samba server.
