I am constantly receiving error messages while online, offline, even just playing solitaire, I receive these error messages that have me click O.K. and that's it, the whole program closes on me. They usually refer to files with extensions that are "exe." and "dll." please help!

Please post a complete error message. Just having the info '.exe' or '.dll' isn't enough to work on.

What OS version do you use? It also can be a hardware problem (memory), hot CPU.

Here's the error message

"The application (Adobe PageMill 3.0) has unexpectedly quit, because an error of type 3 occured"

"You should have your work in other open applications and restart your computer"

What the heck does the first one mean?

Hmmm... I don't suppose that you're trying to run PageMill on OS/2? Because that's what this forum is all about - from the information on www.adobe.com, PageMill only runs on Mac and Windumb... So it looks like you're in the wrong forum; try posting in the correct one according to your platform, you'll find more knowledgeable people for your problem there.

Anyway, the support documents at Adobe point to conflicting software components (I found references to 'display library' and Quicktime stuff)
