Something wrong with my OS/2 2.1 installtion I try to install in the FAT 16 disk,But fail.

ok my computer: IBM THINKPAD 535 P133MHZ 40M 1M VEDIO RAM 6G HARDISK
the drivers of sound card and vedio card was on the IBM website.So I think this machine can be installed os/2.

You may need to partition the hdd. Say a 2 gig then 4 gig and install os2 on the first 1024 cylinders. Also disable any L1 and L2 caching in the bios before the install then reenable it afterwards.

I have format my harddisk for 2G and 4G. I also try to format C: to HPFS and FAT,both display the same error message:FDISK unsuccessful!!
The installtion is much difficult than BeOS.

Yeah Beos must have the easiest OS to install ever. I'm surprised there's been no other advise. Its got me beat.
