Something that'll definitly do fine: repartition with Warp4 FDISK ;)

There could be a possibility that LVM cannot read from partition, since it is formatted with an incompatible file system. These errors do occur from time to time, though not a lot, only with unknown and new file systems. Do you use ext3?

wrong... the install put an older ver of IBM1S506 on the drive that can't read the drive.

You will need to go to Hobbes FTP to grab Daniela's 506 Driver replacement.

Read the docs, but the basic thing is to boot with floppy once you got the drivers on a floppy.

At prompt, go TEDIT x:\config.sys
Press ESC
Look for IBM1S506.ADD
REM it out
Put the same syntax but using: DANIS506.ADD instead
F2 - Save
F3 - Exit

Copy the Danis drivers to x:\OS2\BOOT and reboot.

This happens many of times to me and that is how I fix it..
