OS: OS/2
CPU/Ram: pI 233 / 64MB
Comment:
If OS/2 2.11's licensing allows for 1-7 processors 386 or higher, how come I've never seen a motherboard with more than two processors (socket 7) and NEVER have I seen a multiprocessor 386 or 486? Do they exist?

My guess is that those mainboard are maid especially when someone of a LARGE company asks for it... But, I recall that SMP is only usefull for servers, and even on my server here @home to connect 4 clients, SMP wouldn't afford the price ;)

[Super] Socket 7 (AMD) never made a multiprocessor board until recently (SocketA and Thunderbird chips).

386 and 486 boards were never multiprocessor until dual Intel DX4-100s (I wanted one).

I got WSeB and wouldn't mind having a dual CPU board but I don't really need it..
