If any one is will to send me a copy of a spare disk I will pay for postage and replace the disk anyone sends.

You should be able to create the disk from the CD. Use the following command:

e:\diskimgs\xdfcopy e:\diskimgs\os2\35\disk1 a:

where e: is the CD-ROM drive. This of course presupposes that you have the CD-ROM and a working version of OS/2 somewhere.

Sorry Andy I have not got the CD, these are original disks which I have got, otherwise I would do what you said.
I am getting a bit sick looking around on the IBM site for a image of this disk. the only ones I can find is a update for the first 2 disk of OS/2 Version 4. These will not work.

I'm having roughly the same problem, floppies don't seem to hold up very well. I have the original disks for os2 warp (v3, i think), given to me by a friend who just happened to have them lying around, unfortunately his disk 3 is corrupted (and I'm not sure about the others).
I'd probably be better off with an older version of os2, but I can't find one, and I need to put something on this Thinkpad 700...
