I need to create Start up diskettes. if anyone can tell me exactly how I would apprecaite the help. so far I am start the process by going into "OS2 system Icon"/System Setup/Create utility Disketes.
it then prompts me to select the drive letter where the utillity diskettes will be created. scince I'm using 1.44 floppy diskettes I select A: then click create
then another window displays and prompts me to select the source drive & directory.
default is set at D:\OS2image
I select ok but says invalid source. so i then browse thru C: drive to try to find a match or location for the default source location. but unsuccessfull. I'm guessing its either a hidden file or directory that i need to locate or that I need the original Os2 Warp 4 Installation CD. That I do not have. if anyone can give me some type of solution or feed back i would definately apprecciate it thx.

- that seems to bo a missmatch with your cd-rom drive
- the message means, that you should install the correct cd in your cd-romare you able to use your cd-rom? if yes, change the drive-letter to this character. Does it work now?

You need the original Warp 4 installation CD. It's a little batch file called CDINST.CMD that's in the root directory of the CD. You run that (or CDINST.BAT) and it will prompt you to make the three install disks. The utility disks are NOT what you need (and yes, you need the installation CD for that too!).
Good luck. :)

well i will try both suggestions I jus now was able to get the Installation cd so hopefully it works thx I will let you guys know.
