Hello,
I got problem with the CD-ROM accessibility. The CD-ROM able to detect at Bios, but I cannot access the CD-ROM via the OS (no CD-ROM icon). When I go to command prompt, same thing happen. I have confirmed that the CD-ROM is working fine. How do I install the CD-ROM driver? I don't want to reinstall the server coz it's a production server running 24hrs. I need help urgently

You didn't specify what version of OS/2 you are using, but it doesn't matter. You're going to have to do a selective install
(OS/2 System > OS/2 Setup > Install > Selective Install) of the driver, then reboot the system. Everything except the reboot can be done with the system running.
When you get the IBM Install program running, there's an option toward the bottom of the left side of the first panel that allows you to install a CD-ROM. Click on the CD-ROM, then select the specific device from the list presented, click next, repeat until it tells you it's copying the driver.
You will need at least some of the OS/2 installation floppy disks (which didn't come with version 4.0 but are on the CD for that), since you don't have the CD working.
Make sure you have the install disks (or copies of them) ready when you start.

U are not specify your cdrom when u are installed OS/2 to ur pc
follow the procedure to setup your cdrom1.OS/2 System
2.System Setup
3.Selective Install
4.CD-ROM Device Support
5.Select to Non-Listed IDE-CDROMLearn from Error first..
