if I make the second OS/2Warp4 install floppy disk = ERROR !?!?!? WHY ? --> i have the os/2 warp4 cd, and if I would like create the second install floppy disc, he say me: "while openning the file - error !", how can I create the Install Floppy Discīs ????
First put your cd in the drive then goto a command prompt OS/2 WINDOW will work. goto your cd drive (ie "d") or whatever your cd is have three floppies ready then type "makedsks"you will then be prompted on what to do next.

i know this is basic but make sure write protection is off the disk i tried twice like an idiot one time till i figured the protection was on if that dosnt work check the forum for people that allready have them and ccan mail them to you

If you are tyring to make the three disk set to start an install you need three new disks (HD Disks), you should see two square holes on the back. Go to a dos prompt, put your CD in the drive. Change to the cd drive eg D: type dir to make certain that the cd is in the drive.
type cdinst
Follow the prompts. The copy routine is very careful and it verifies the disk. You may have a weak floppy drive. Try on another machine.
