Can I have multisessions with command line in
the manner that I can in linux? (eg, Ctrl 1...6)

I have a series of notes that I want to switch to quickly on a command line OS/2 v3
system.

If the OS/2 GUI is multitasking, I'd also think the command line is also multitasking.

Thank you

I don't quite understand what your requirements are...
Of course you can open as many cmd.exe's as you feel like (until your computer whines and wheezes) and change around using the task list or Alt-Tab.
If you want to have an OS/2 system without the diddly mouseyclickstuff (only VIO), you'll have to get yourself another shell. I believe there was such a beast on hobbes.nmsu.edu called tshell.

You can also use "start cmdline.exe", for example type "start rmview" at the command line. It should open another session that runs rmview.exe while the original cmd stays open. Very useful in bats and cmds.
