Hi

I have a pIII 450, tnt2 ultra, 256 Ram, asus p2-99 board. I installed Xp pro, when it restarts the system during the install I get a bad_system_config_info error. Ive tried installing on a fresh system, tried upgrading from ME, I've updated the bios, disabled mem caching and shadowing (suggestions on the error page), i set all the files in system32/config so they arent read only, I only have 12 files in there, which seems too little

thanks

Seems like a solution to your problem might possibly be found in the (hint, hint) XP forum.
