I have created a print queue but what ever I do, it always prints a trailer page. Below is the init command that I've used. I have created numerous other queues like this that work OK.
$ init/queue/start-
/owner=[1,4]-
/library=dcps$devctl-
/device=server-
/process=tcpip$lpd_smb-
/noseparator-
/default=(noflag,notrailer)-
/schedule=nosize-
/noretain-
/protection=(s:e,g:r,w:w,o:d) HP2055_1

If your other printers are behaving the way you want, then it seems to me that the place you need to look is at this one printer, not anything on the OpenVMS side. Since it's an LPD printer, then I'd look at the characteristics of the queue on the host system and compare it's settings to those of one of the queue that is working the way you want. Odds are you'll find the solution to your problem there.

However, if you still want to dig further into the OpenVMS options, here's a link to the online manual (in case you don't already have it): http://h71000.www7.hp.com/doc/83fin...

Since it seems you've also got DPCS in the mix, you may also need to dig through the DCPS documentation here: http://h71000.www7.hp.com/doc/dcps2...
