I don't know about 7.1, but on 7.3.4 there is a program to overwrite the internal password. You can then log in as Internal on the server and change all the other passwords.
I've changed jobs now, so I don't have a copy of the documentation any more, but it's hidden away in the manuals. (So well hidden it took me a day or so to find it.)
