Hi

I made cobol program in openVms and I have the follow instruction:
"EXEC SQL DECLARE Ejm alias
FILENAME Ejm END-EXEC"

Now, I don't know where the Ejm File is located.

In dcl batch i Write: "define sql$database <Ejm databse root>"

So my question is: How can I locate this database files in order to connect? Does it exist a specefic location to storage alpha 2100 database? or in which directory could be located this database file (Ejm)

Thanks
Carlos

Reply:

SQL$Database is a logical probally set as a System level logical.
At the $ prompt type SHOW LOGICAL SQL$DATABASE. This should show you the location of the Root File for the database.
