The easy way:

Boot normally (NOT from CD or DKA200)

Insert CD and mount it (assume DKA400)
Mount and init DKA200
Than make an image copy of the CD to disk:

$ BACKUP/image DKA400: DKA200:

After that, you can boot from DKA200 as is it were the CD

Wombatzz,

I am unclear as to the details of your situation. One possibility is what Willem suggested, namely copying from the CDROM.

Another, often common solution, is to clone your current system disk, and then clean off the products and other files that are unneeded.

Presuming that your current running disk is DKA0, you would use the commadn BACKUP/IMAGE DKA0: DKA200: to copy the entire drive. Then shutdown one of your production systems, reboot from DKA200, and remove any elements you do not want on the alternate disk. In client situations, I have seen the entire range, from exact copies of the production environment to very limited copies which permit emergency repair work only.

I hope that the above is helpful.
