instillation procedure for open VMS

You have to boot from the installation CD/DVD: this starts a menu offering amongst some other options (like backup or disk mounting or initializing) installation or update of VMS on a hard-disk. In Your profile I see Intel P IV as computer, does this mean You want VMS on a Vax or Alpha emulator ? I so, consult the emulator vendors documentation.
