    Key Takeaways

    • Nvidia plans to launch NemoClaw, an open-source platform enabling enterprise AI agents
    • Companies can deploy AI agents through the platform to automate employee workflow tasks
    • Salesforce, Cisco, Google, Adobe, and CrowdStrike have received partnership pitches from Nvidia
    • Early access comes through project contributions, with the open-source model eliminating licensing costs
    • The platform reveal may coincide with Nvidia’s GTC 2026 developer conference happening next week

Nvidia has created an open-source AI agent platform targeting enterprise customers, named NemoClaw. Wired reported the development, citing sources with knowledge of the project, revealing that the chipmaker has approached several leading software companies about the platform.

WIRED says Nvidia is preparing to launch an open-source AI agent platform called NemoClaw, aimed at enterprise software companies.

The companies approached for potential partnerships include Salesforce, Cisco, Google, Adobe, and CrowdStrike. Official partnership confirmations remain pending.

The open-source nature of NemoClaw means partners can utilize the platform without financial investment. Nvidia plans to grant early access to companies willing to contribute code, resources, or other support to the project.

NemoClaw enables businesses to implement AI agents capable of executing tasks for their workforce. Security and privacy features come integrated into the platform — addressing concerns that have emerged around competing AI agent technologies.

One significant advantage: companies can leverage NemoClaw whether or not their infrastructure depends on Nvidia hardware. This flexibility eliminates adoption hurdles that previously affected Nvidia’s proprietary solutions.

Nvidia’s entry into AI agents aligns with an industry-wide movement toward autonomous tools, moving beyond traditional large language models. These advanced agents demonstrate reasoning capabilities, planning abilities, and can execute sophisticated multi-step operations with minimal human oversight.

The groundwork for this launch has been underway for months. Nvidia introduced foundational models including Nemotron and Cosmos, both engineered to support AI agent functionality.

The company has simultaneously enhanced its NeMo platform, which provides clients with comprehensive AI agent lifecycle management — covering data curation, training processes, ongoing monitoring, and performance optimization.

    The ‘Claw’ Category Gains Momentum

NemoClaw’s naming convention reflects the growing prominence of “claw”-style AI tools — open-source agents capable of local operation while executing sequential task chains.

OpenClaw stands as the category’s leading example, having undergone rebranding from Clawdbot and later Moltbot before achieving viral status this year. OpenAI subsequently acquired the project and hired its developer.

Jensen Huang, Nvidia’s CEO, described OpenClaw as “the most important software release probably ever,” demonstrating the company’s strategic interest in this emerging sector.

    GTC 2026 Conference Timing

The NemoClaw announcement arrives immediately before Nvidia’s annual developer conference, GTC 2026, taking place next week in San Jose.

Attendees anticipate major announcements covering Nvidia’s hardware and software strategy, positioning the conference as a probable venue for official NemoClaw details.

NVDA stock gained 0.38% during after-hours trading following the news. TipRanks analysts maintain a Strong Buy consensus rating on the stock, with 39 Buy recommendations and one Hold. The average analyst price target stands at $272.16, suggesting approximately 49% upside potential from present trading levels.

The stock has delivered approximately 70.7% returns over the trailing twelve months.
