One of my hard drives recently crashed and I am attempting to restore an image backup from tape. I have mounted (/foreign) both the tape and the new hard drive and executed the "backup" command. However, I receive the message "%BACKUP-F-NOVOLDATA, VOLUME SUMMARY DATA FOR DKA100: NOT FOUND - /IMAGE CANNOT BE USED"
Can anyone provide some insight into my problem?
Thanks,
Josh

Josh,
Perhaps you can post the PRECISE command line that you used? It would help.

Josh,
There are two possibilities:
- The save set was not created using /IMAGE and does not (as contained in the error message) have the information needed to reconstruct the volume from scratch.
- The save set has been corrupted.
Do you know the command used to create the save set?
