Hello,
I am about to install a backup library and its tape drive under VMS 7.3. Drive are LTO Ultrium from IBM. They are connected on a Fibre channel SAN. Fibre channel Card in VMS system are Compaq FC HBA. Libary will be attached directly on SCSI attachement. Backup application will be Networker 6.1.1
I need some help to know: - how to see the drives at the VMS system level - how to create special device files under VMS Is there any configuration file to edit, driver to install ? - how to test them.
Same thing for the library : how can I check if I've got my library present on my VMS system ?
Thanks in advance for your answer (please answer me on my mail),
