I have an old VMS system (5.1) and need to replace on of the disks. I tried to initialize the disk : INITIALIZE/SYSTEM DUA1: name and got the following ERROR: INIT-F-FORMAT, invalid media format. My question is how to format a RD51 disk to be used on VMS 5.1?
