Hi,

I use one DPW 500au with OVMS 7.2 installed for system integration and networking. So far I want to install one more NIC to seperate the two network segment, I tried 3c509B, Realtek 8139, and NE200 netcard and failed to make the computer recognize the newly installed hardware.

Can somebody, familar with console configuration and OVMS hardware management, help me to resolve the issue? Much thanks in advance to you and your company.

Regards,

Mack

I do not have any experience with other than using DE based nic cards in Alpha systems. I would suggest that you purchase another DEC / Compaq /HPaq recommended card. I have a preference to the DE500 for 10/100 nic cards. They are effortless ( other than standard config proceedures netconfig/ucx$config.com proceedures)in setup.
I don't think that you will find support for other brand name cards in this case...
