Hi Epi,There are a few ways,it depends on the printer:
- if the printer has only a parallel printer port,you can use a printserver,like hp jetdirect from HP or eps1 from Lantronix (I used only these 2 ) and your VAX must be able to use ucx :-)
- if your vax doesn't use ucx (only LAT,then you should use EPS1 or EPS2 from Lantronix,or you may use a terminalserver like ds700 (DEC) or Maxserver 1800 (Xyplex) and use a converter serial-to-parallel (if your printer supports a serial connection,it's a lot easier :-)
- if your printer has a network card and your vax drives ucx ,then it's a lot easier :-)
