Background First: Performed clean installation of Windows XP Pro (original system 98se). Everything was chugging along nicely until we hit the 8 minute to go mark and was asked to enter Computer name and Administator Password. Entered name couldn't click next button mouse wasn't working (mouse went off line a while back ) also couldn't hit the underline letter on next as the keys also gave up. So i pressed enter and off we went again to "Who will use this computer" . Entered name mouse, keys and this time enter not working. Pc freeze up. Removed XP CD installatioin switched off Pc reboot XP desk top came up mouse still not working went into set up enabled USB mouse working. Question / Problem 1. How do i confirm everything was loaded . I believe the onlything it missed out on was Finalization? What i've check so far it looks like its working eg My computer, Run Explorer and so on. 2. Although i got the mouse working, each time i reboot i have to go into set up to enable the USB (I had no issues with USB with 98se). How do i get it to stay enabled
