When I print a document all the fields go blank. The boarders stay but the information in the fields disappear. The printer prints the information just that way with all the fields blank. Does anyone know why this happens. This occured with Word 2000 having no Service Packs installed. I installed SP1 and then SP3 and the problem persists. A coworker with the exact same setup can print these documents just fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, amcneill

What exactly do you mean by "Fields?" Do you mean just the text disappears? Are you using tables or any type of Mail Merge that actually uses fields? What color is the text?

We are using a template were you can tab through the document and add information to the fields. Once you have the fields all filled up and try to print. All the fields visibly go blank and the printer spits out a copy that has all fields and borders and everything else, except for the fields we entered data. So, in summation the whole document prints except for the manually added information. The text in the field is black.
