Hi! I am experiencing a new problem. When I insert an image in Word Xp the program crashes! In particular it crashes when Word opens the window from which I can choose the file to insert. I have noticed that I can let the problem don't occur, in fact I have to put the window in "Details View" mode, in fact if it is in the default "Preview" mode the software crashes.

You can try deleting the Normal.dot file. Just make sure you have office completely closed.

Hi Andrea

Make sure you are in page layout view first.
And then when you open the insert screen, make sure the "float over text" box IS checked.

ms Word has had a problem with this from day one in almost all versions since 95.
