How are you printing? Are you using the printer icon on the toolbar, or are you clicking File, Print, and then making sure your printer (whatever make/model is it) is selected?
Does printing working for other applications? Did Word ever print to this printer, or is this a new configuration?

The printer has worked in Word for years (an Epson 2200) When I try to print in either of the two ways available, the printer dialog comes up with my default printer (the 2200). In this case there is an hour glass and when I open the Task manager it's "not responding' the CPU use is up to 100% of memory. It will print from other applications, but not WORD.
