Product: Microsoft Microsoft word 2007 (pc)

Comment:

Word 2007 seems to be corrupted. The left and right mouse buttons don't work(can't highlight) and when I try to save or print the programme hangs up. Its installed as part of Office professional 207 plus and I can't see how to just reinstalll word. Other programmes work fine.

I had already run the diagnostic tool but it didn't show any problems when I ran it I am afraid

If it's a legal copy of the OS and Office, call MS Support.

Contrary to popular opinion, they don't bite.

I may do that but I have discovered that the other two users on the PC can run Word fine so I think it must be something to do with local settings for me as a user.

If it's XP, you can delete a user while retaining all documents.

Or you could try to create a new user and see if it works. If it does, transfer your files over bit by bit.

Good luck.

Trouble is I would have to move Outlook files and everything. There must be some local settings that have been corrrupted that I could delete and start again with word. I tried deleting Normal.dot but not sure if it was the rifght one and it didn't help
