Hey,

Does anyone out there know how can I convert Word Excel stuff to PDF?? I use PDF999 but I need something else which will allow me to specify some feilds on the PDF where people can enter stuff like a PDF Form not fully editable only spaces I define!! please assist

Adobe Acrobat will convert Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

yes I know that and I have a program which does that its called "PDF999" but I want something where I cant convert to PDF yet still be able to edit spaces I define.

Remember that a PDF cannot recalculate.

its okay thats not what I wanted it to do. I have a form which needs to be on a site and filled out but I need it to be in PDF format so people can enter crap into it and send it to me by mail.

In order to make a PDF with blanks you need a copy of Adobe Acrobat. If it on a website then it has to be downloaded, filled out, printed, then snail mailed (not emailed) to you. A webpage to be filled in and emailed back is whats needed.

Can you not
1) create the form in Excel,
2) protect the form(workbook),
3) unprotect the cells your reader needs to add data into
4) post it to your website

no no its a form they should download not fill online.. then they'll email it any one can help with this adobe thing? I saw it acouple of times on websites and never knew how it was done!!
