When I open Word 2000, the default blank document that appears is not blank. It has writing on it that I've deleted ages ago. I've deleted the wording and tried to save it as something else, but it keeps coming up each time I open the prog. I've tried to go into the MS Office Prog and find the template, but it comes up as blank. I've even un-installed the entire MS Office Suite, then reinstalled it, to no avail. I've been very good about keeping Norton 2007 Security Suite w/Anti-Virus, Spybot and all other progs that are supposed to "protect" me updated and I run 3X weekly. Any ideas? I am at a big loss!! Thanks in advance

It appears your normal.dot template has become overwritten. Do a search for "normal.dot" and delete it. It will be re-created next time you start Word. That should clean up the "Document1" template.
