Word 97 print/layout problems

Have an odd situation with W98 printing a network Word 97 document on Novell network. I have a few workstations printing a Word97 document and you do a print preview and it cuts off the bottom 2 lines and prints to 2 pages, does this on numerous printers, go to a different O.S. and it prints fine, then I go to our remote location and try the same network file and it prints/print preview shows just fine...any insight would be great.
Summary: Word frequently crashes as I attempt to save or print with no error code and the normal.dot when opened, is formatted in "Page Setup" to custom size paper which is oddly shaped, and cannot be changed....
