Word 2007 documents track changes problem

Specs: Windows XP
We are using Word 2007. All documents are stored on a server. When I open a document on my computer from the server it shows all the tracked changes (ie, underlines, strike-throughs, text colors, etc.). However, when my boss opens the same document on his computer, it will not show the tracked changes only formatting bubbles on the right-hand side. The review settings are set to show tracked changes, comments, insertion, deletions, etc. and is set to "final showing mark up". Is there something I am missing?

maybe the settings in your bosses copy of Word, so ask him to check them.
