WORD 2003: Tab Key won't work

WORD 2003 Tab Key Problem:

Hello, anyone know why my bullets or numered lsits won't indent when I hit the TAB key?

For example:

1. Example Text (Hit enter)
2. (Hit Tab Key) | <--Cursor indents to here but does not indent numbers or symbols or bullets

Anyone know why and how I cann fix this?

not sure but have a look in "automatic corrector" with bullet list set to auto (in word 2k)...

Thanks i found it:

Tools > AutoCorrect Options > AutoFormat as you Type > (CHECK) set left - and first indents with tabs and backspaces

I guess I overlooked it before
