Word 2003 Shuts down when typing !

I reinstalled XP and Office lately, and since then I have a wierd problem: When I open a document on Word (or start a new one), It shuts down a few seconds after I begin typin anything! Did someone encounter this problem? It happens also when using Word as editor in Outlook. Reinstalling office helped for a while, and then the problem returned Thanks in advance Klarki

first close word, any office application and also internet explorer. Search for normal.dot and rename it to normal1.dot and restart word. this should do the trick. Kind regards, At Gottenbos
