Anybody know why I am unable to move upper/lower margin using vertical ruler in print layout? The whole ruler is white and no spanning pointer appears. I have tried resetting page setup to default and have replaced normal.dot. The document prints with correct margins, but in Print Layout the cursor is right at the top of the page.

I have the same problem and it drives me crazy. If you select "view" then "header footer" than close, the typical print layout view will show. If you get this figured out please let know. Remove "junk" from email address.

I figured it out.
Move your pointer to the top of the page. When "Show White Space" appears click once.
