I do not have a drawing software so I am using Word 2002 to create a floor plan. This way it is more universal for future editing. Since it is not very detailed Word will do.
I have two page in it with many text boxes. I used text boxes to label rooms. After about 40 text boxes I am running into a problem.
The problem:
For some reason I cannot add any more text box. If I create a new one, it links to the last one and copies the text from that box. If I create ten new ones it does the same to those too.I checked the "Break Link" button and it is grayed out. That means Word does not see any link to any boxes.
I do not have any macros running.
I converted the new text box to frame but I ran into problem with that one too. I cannot put frames on the next page.
I will appreciate any help.
Thanks.
Ronjon

this doesn't solve your problem but it might be a work around - why not use wordart for the labeling, it is free floating so can be placed anywhere and can be formated to look like normal text
