I am posting this question for my colleague who had problems in Word 2003 mail merge with Access parameter queries.
She was doing mail merge in Word 2003 with documents originally created by Word 2000. The data source was originally linked to the Access parameter queries that were created by Access 2000. When she upgraded the Access 2000 to the Access 2003, she converted the Access 2000 files to Access 2003 files. When she opened the word document in Word 2003, and ran the mail merge wizard, the parameter queries were not displayed on the list of queries and tables. How should she fix this problem to allow the parameter queries to show up and so she can select it as the data source?

did she tried to copy this document, and restart mail merg proceed from the start. i mean change the data file to another to see if things go the right way

She has to go to Tools, Options, General Tab and then select then select confirm conversion at Open. This, for some reason, displays a different menu where she can select a DDE connection which then gives you the full list of tables and queries from Access.
