I am running WinFLP (Windows Fundamentals For Legacy PCs) This is a different version of Windows XP which is also by Microsoft (just to clear that up in advance).
So far every program i could have wanted on there has worked but there is an issue with Email, I have always used Outlook Express to send/receive and it is not included in this version of windows.
I tried Outlook 2003 and this has an issue with sending and receiving emails, i do not have access to the errors at the minute as it is a computer at work.
If anyone has any information regarding how to get these 2 programs to function on WinFLP or possibly any programs similar which WILL WORK on WinFLP that would be great.
Thanks.

OE is included with Internet Explorer. Or you can download it from here: http://www.tucows.com/preview/194179
When you can, post the errors you're getting in Outlook, and if you feel comfortable, post the incoming and outgoing server information as well.

Also: Outlook Express is not included in this version of windows.
there is no issue with the incoming and outgoing server information as i have them setup on another computer and working, using Outlook Express though.

Those errors indicate a misconfiguration in your email account. You may need to use SSL for incoming and/or outgoing, authentication for outgoing, or other options. Without knowing who your ISP is, I can't say what the settings should be, but that's where the problem lies.

One needs an account to access their email support. Start here: http://www.virginmedia.com/customer...
Or, check the settings for the account on the other computer.

I have already set it up and checked it i am sure they are correct, since this one works fine yet the other doesnt. I am convinced its something to do with a conflict between the program and the OS :P

I found this:

Maybe it just won't work..
I'd use Remote Desktop to access the computer that does work for email.

I would recomend using Mozilla Thunderbird, available at:
