Unable to insert a sound clip (wma) into a sound file (wma) using windows movie maker, what happens when i try to insert the sound clip into the sound file is that it either places the sound clip at the beginning or at the end of the sound file and doesnt let me insert the sound clip in the sound file where i want to place it?
thank you.

i noticed that the sound file (wma) is actually refering to itself as a windows media audio/video file? anyway that i can change or convert it to a just plain (wma) sound file?

Sounds like you are trying to wash clothes with a dish washer.

Windows Movie Maker is a video editing application that does have audio features (washing features:)

How about using an audio editor such as Audacity or a similar application to edit audio files?

Audacity is free and you may need to convert the .wma files to .mp3. I have never used it myself but it features "Cut, copy, splice or mix sounds together".
