Hi,
I've been through an ordeal with Outlook recently and have finally gotten it running again.
I had to revert back to Outlook 2000 (part of my Office 2000 suite) which is fine. I was running Outlook 2003 previously.
The small problem I am having now is that as I launch Outlook, very briefly Windows Installer pops up on my screen and then disappears. This happens immediately after my ZoneAlarm email protection program runs.
Any ideas why Windows Installer is running during the launch process and how I can get rid of it?

Have you tried disabling Zone Alarms e-mail protection (Mail Frontier) program? You'll find it under the "Add-Ins listed as MailBuddy. Sorry I don't remember where those are located in Office 2000.
